Organizations such as the Active Ballot Club (ABC) protect and promote the interests of our members by supporting legislation beneficial to all American workers and by opposing legislation harmful to union members and their families.
Members can give any amount they wish. Some members, including your Local Union staff, contribute a minimum of $300 per year.
The ABC makes recommendations based on a number of factors, including a candidate’s past voting record and interviews to see where candidates stand on important issues. Voters make up their own minds.
The ABC is non-partisan. Endorsements are made based on the candidate’s commitment to the programs of the working men and women of America.
Each year in December, the Local Union has a drawing for members contributing to ABC. Ten prizes are given out ranging from $25 to $1,000. Tell your friends and co-workers so they can become ABC members and be put in the drawing for $1,000!

All UFCW members who join ABC are entered into our annual drawing that happens at the December General Membership Meeting for prizes ranging from $25 to $1,000! Your name is put in the drawing one time for every dollar given.
(Ex: $1.00 weekly = 52 entries in the drawing)
